As far as design elements go, the site contains some small things that may be a bit distracting. The link text is definitely striking, but possibly difficult to read, especially at a glance, and links seem to be a little randomly placed. Small things, I know, but since this is an honest review, those were my first impressions. Brittany’s logo, which is arguably one of the most important design elements on a site, tends to get lost set against the splash picture… which I guess says something good about the picture, right? I really like these candid pictures, which you really don’t get to see very often, so I really hope she’ll continue posting them. Navigation around the Member’s Area is done through one sidebar on the right hand side. From there you can reach all the different areas of Brittany St. Jordan’s Site, including Latest Scenes, and Bonus Content.

I found myself constantly looking for a Navigation Bar along the top of the site, as most all the other Grooby Productions sites have, but I soon got used to the format here. This change hasn’t seemed to affect the site itself in any way, which leads me to believe that Krissy still owns and operates the site as a separate entity.

I’ve been checking in on Krissy’s site now for quite some time, in fact, probably ever since it went up in 2006′ish! Recently it seems, Krissy had an outside company do some page creation for her, which I think really helped bring some cohesion to her site’s look.

The site is designed in a linear, table format, which does make things easy to navigate, although you could make the argument that things look a little bit cluttered. Typically speaking, network sites on big production companies seem to look the same after a while so it is pretty refreshing to see Tgirl Pinups take a departure from the other SMC sites with unique colors and a unique look. Of course, it does probably help that the content and theme are pretty unique and almost given to designing itself with a little added creativity. If you’re a fan of the ‘retro’ look, you’ll notice lots of cool little treats in the design aspects of Tgirl Pinups that will bring back those warm fuzzies of the good ol’ days.

The colors themselves remind of of the insides of those old ice cream parlors that Grandma and Grandpa used to take you to as a kid… soft palettes of peaches, pinks, and nudes really bring back that retro feel, and the splash pictures of some of the featured models at Tgirl Pinups add to the great design. Retro styled clip art is used throughout that if you can tear your eyes away from the models, you’ll definitely appreciate those little touches as well, providing a cohesive atmosphere throughout the site. The only thing I found that didn’t quite match up to the overall design is the inclusion of a modern day font for the descriptions of the ‘episodes’ (a clever nod to ‘sets’).

Personally, I’ve always thought that SMC Productions sites tend to be a little bit crowded, which can be difficult to navigate. Tgirl Pinups does have a whole bunch happening on their public pages, which some may love, while others may find confusion. The clean design definitely helps but there are some distracting elements that probably aren’t completely necessary for a site of this caliber, and some design elements seem squished together in my opinion. That being said, getting around the site is still pretty easy.

The Member’s Area of Tgirl Pinups looks almost the same as the public pages, but is designed in more of a ‘blog’ format for easy access to the most recent episodes and other content. I’m not going to spend a lot of time here since I want to get into the actual content of Tgirl Pinups, but a couple things worth noting are the Model Index (search for Tgirl Pinups models by name alphabetically) and the ability to add favorite episodes, galleries, and videos to the Favorites section for easy access at your next sign-in.

Of course, with a name like Tgirl Pinups, you pretty much expect that the photo content would be first-rate, themed, and stunning… which pretty much describes those pinup calendars of the past. I’m happy to say that I’ve found the galleries to live up to all three of those expectations and then some! There are some really, really great galleries at Tgirl Pinups and it is pretty amazing to see your favorite Shemale Pornstars dressed in retro clothing with dramatic makeup and big cheesy grins. Personally, I think most people will probably join Tgirl Pinups because of the gorgeous photo content, but stay for a month or two because of the video content. Videos at Tgirl Pinups ARE STREAMING ONLY, so if that matters to you, and it should if you have a slow or unreliable connection, this may not be the site for you. That being said, if you’re OK with watching videos in your browser and not being able to save them to watch later on your PC, you’ll absolutely love the videos that Tgirl Pinups offers.

Obviously, the theme of ‘retro’ kind of breaks down when it comes to videos, since really, when it comes to porn, you’re after sex scenes. The intros to the videos are pretty cleverly done though and then after that, the action is hot and heavy. I would guess that there are some out there who would doubt that a site like Tgirl Pinups can make it for very long… which is why I would urge you to help support the site with a Membership for a month or two if you enjoy this kind of content. Personally, I love the uniqueness of the content on Tgirl Pinups but it can not be easy or cheap to put together the sets and costumes for the episodes.

Tgirl Pinups has a lot going for it… unique content, beautiful models, awesome performers… Will that be enough to make this a successful site? Honestly, I don’t know. What I do know is that if you have that itch for the good ol’ days, and you enjoy Shemale porn, I think that you’ll really love this site. I hope it does well because it is definitely one that I would come back to time and time again to see what’s new!

It took me about 2 minutes to find the link to the Member’s Area of Devil’s Tgirls, which may not sound like a long time, but when you think about how long it should take you to find [arguably] the most important link from the public pages, that is a pretty big navigational problem (it’s a tiny link in the upper right hand corner of the page BTW). Also, the public pages of Devil’s Tgirls, however beautiful they are, being filled with pictures of gorgeous Shemale Pornstars at play, seem really busy to me. There is so much going on in the pages, as far as flashing pictures, text to read, and splash pictures are concerned, that I really think the site would be better served by simplifying the navigation and design scheme a little bit. Obviously, the 365 days for $100.00 is a pretty darn good deal… just mark it down on your calendar because it will rebill a year later!

CONCLUSION AND SITE OVERVIEW
Devil’s Tgirls is a bit of a mixed bag for me personally, but the quantity and quality of the video content really does overcome the shortcomings (IMO) of the navigation issues. With the gorgeous pictures thrown in as well for the most recently shot sets, Devil’s Tgirls has enough quality content to satisfy most anyone. I always wonder how long sites that advertise as ‘Updated Daily’ can continue to operate at that frequency but as of right now, I think the excellent video content, daily updates, and sheer Shemale Pornstar ‘Star Power’ all make Devil’s Tgirls a site that both newbies to the niche and long time Shemale Admirers will enjoy.

The first thing I noticed is that Domino Presley’s Site has a more subdued look to it with deep reds and maroons making up the background. I think this really gives the site a ‘glamorous’ look and feel to it, which fits well with Domino’s personality as a performer as well. The splash picture of her is just beautiful. Another thing I really like is Domino’s logo, which is an awesome caricature of her figure and I love the way her hair makes little horns… implying that you’re going to have a devilishly good time with this Shemale Pornstar! Obviously, some thought and marketing expertise has gone into the creation of Domino’s Site and I think that always translates into a good experience for potential Members.

As for the navigational aspects, I like that Domino has chosen to keep things pretty simple with not a lot of outside links to clutter up the pages or distract from the ‘Domino’ experience. I think the Member’s Area could do away with the sidebars entirely, or else replace them with text links, since the thumbnail pictures and links there now are very confusing and lead to different places within the site. That being said, I think Members will be so happy with the content that is there, that a little bit of confusing navigation can be wholeheartedly forgiven.

The best way to travel around the Member’s Area of Angelina Torres’ Site is just to use the navigation bar beneath the header. From there you can get to all the separate areas of the site, such as the Galleries and Videos. One section of the site that I wish was included on the public pages is the ‘Inside Angelina’ section, which is a great biography page containing some very interesting information about this rising Shemale Pornstar. I think casual browsers are interested the backgrounds of their favorite Shemale Pornstars, and with Angelina, who is a completely fascinating and intelligent girl, knowing a little more about her besudes the fact that she can make some pretty hot porn, would be a good thing!

While I see the value of presenting ‘flawless’ girls as a marketing tool, I think it’s pretty funny to see a drop-dead, perfect girl in a picture and then a second later when you click on the movie, you see her as she actually is. Don’t get me wrong, the girls of She-Male Idol ARE some of the most beautiful Shemale Pornstars around… which really just leads to the question of why filter them so much and make it so noticeable.

Personally, I find the difference between the public pages of She-Male Idol and the Member’s Area to be fairly significant, and overall, a bit confusing. I want first of all to say that I’m not discussing CONTENT in this area, just the presentation of it all. For my taste, the site is a bit too busy with too many links leading to the same content. While this gives the appearance of the site having loads and loads of content (which it does), it may add to some confusion for Members who wish to view a particular movie in a specific category, say ‘Anal’, only to find that they’ve already seen the movie in the ‘Shemale / Tranny’ category. I think with a site of this caliber it would be far better to employ a ‘Search’ feature and let Members decide for themselves what they want to view. Photo Content for She-Male Idol is extensive… once you figure out how to find it. If you just go to the ‘Pictures’ section of the site (at the time of this writing), there are only 10 galleries containing about 50 pictures each. If you enjoy browsing galleries while you wait for a movie to download or load, you’ll quickly burn through these galleries, although I’m sure in the future, more will be added eventually. Galleries are not available as ZIP files and are viewed using a pop-up, Flash based, slideshow-type viewer. The pictures are clear, well-lit, and obviously taken professionally. You can view them in two sizes by enlarging the default size of the viewer.

Now, why She-Male Idol has pictures buried in another part of the site is kind of a mystery to me. But, if you want to view more pictures, you can also see 40 pictures from each scene by clicking on the scene you want. This will open the scene description and there you will find a small link for ‘Images’. I suppose this is done so you can get an idea of where the scene goes without having to view or download the entire file, but I guess I am just too used to all the pictures for a site being in one section.

VIDEO CONTENT
Because of the way photo content is set up and split out, I’d place She-Male Idol in the category of sites that is aimed primarily at persons who are looking for videos. And, if you’re one of those people, you’re in for quite the treat when it comes to She-Male Idol. I’ve already spoken about Joey Silvera’s approaching legendary status as a Director of Shemale porn so I won’t go over all that again.
