INTRODUCTION
Kirsty’s TG Playground is the recently launched iteration of Kirstytgirl, which for a long time was one of my favorite amateur sites to visit. Let me start out by saying, much like our review of Mandy-Mitchell, we’ll be concentrating on Kirsty’s TG Playground and NOT Kirstytgirl, which as far as I understand, is not being updated anymore.

A little background on Kirsty… I became familiar with Kirsty through one of the major Transsexual Message Boards that she frequents and I have to say that she has made me almost fall off my chair on more than one occasion in fits of laughter. Kirsty is one wickedly funny and intelligent girl who can certainly hold her own against the drama often found in the Transgendered community. Kirsty Scott is a Scottish Lass who loves shopping, dancing, and of course, lots and lots of kinky sex! Let’s take a closer look inside Kirsty’s TG Playground and see just how kinky Kirsty can be!

SITE DESIGN AND NAVIGATION
Kirsty’s TG Playground is a part of the Blue Pixel family of sites, which run a variety of CD/TV sites featuring models based in the UK. The folks at Blue Pixel certainly know how to design a site and Kirsty’s new site is leaps and bounds better than her previous site. Gone is the skull-splitting pink background, outdated text, and confusing navigation replaced by a sensible, plain dark background and an eye-pleasing selection of deep browns tastefully highlighted by pink and white text. The front page of the site is full of some really great pictures that give you little glimpses of all the different scenes you’ll be able to check out as a Member of the site. The pictures and thumbnails are uncensored with no pixellation (this is the UK spelling in honor of Kirsty) or shading and are clear, bright, and definitely hot!

Although there is plenty of Kirsty to be seen in the pictures and thumbnails, it would be nice to have a video clip or two to view in the Tour Area, but if your dick isn’t hard by the time you finish checking out the two pages of the Tour Area, a 30 second video clip probably wouldn’t do much to cause you to pull out your billfold so the omission is forgivable. You can also subscribe to Kirsty’s free monthly newsletter to keep up with what’s new on the site.

MEMBER’S AREA
Kirsty’s TG Playground is updated every Monday with a rotating variety of Solo content, XXX content, and Guest content. The main Member page includes links to the most recently added updates along with a short description. The European dating system may throw you off a little bit but it is: day / month / year. Perhaps I was just having a ’stupid’ moment but it took me forever to figure this out as a ‘Yank’. The Member’s Area continues the simple and effective site design employed in the public pages.

Navigation through the site is done primarily through the usage of a standard navigation bar at the top of each page where you can access all the different sections of the site. If you’re a fan of Webcam fun, make sure you check out the ‘Bonuses’ area of the site where you can get 25 free credits towards a Webcam show hosted through ImLive with Kirsty, herself. The Bonus Area itself is made up of full, uncensored galleries from some of Kirsty’s label-mates such as Luci May, Zoe Fuck Puppet, and Strap-On Jane.

PHOTO CONTENT
Pictures on Kirsty’s TG Playground are split into four different sections… three actually if you take into account that the ‘Friends’ link leads to the ‘Bonuses’ area of the site. You have the option of checking out, ‘Just Kirsty (solo),’ ‘Partytime (hardcore),’ and ‘Early Kirsty’ galleries. Galleries in each of the sections are chronologically arranged with the option of viewing as a gallery of thumbnails or downloading as a ZIP file. I definitely recommend checking out the ‘Early Kirsty’ pictures… it’s pretty fun to follow her appearance through the years.

For the most part, the pictures are clear and well shot although, obviously, as you go back in age, the quality gets progressively lower which is to be expected given the advancements in technology. For viewing galleries on Kirsty’s TG Playground, be prepared to do a lot of ‘clicking’ as you’ll be opening and closing a lot of windows to view the full-size pictures. Of course, you can just download the ZIP gallery as well but I kind of prefer to view the pictures on the site itself so I found the multiple clicking a little bit tedious after a while. Another thing I found to be a little bit trying is the different crop sizes of the pictures which, in my opinion throws off the ‘flow’ of a gallery. But, that’s just me. All-in-all, Kirsty is one hot Tgirl and has the galleries to prove it!

VIDEO CONTENT
Videos on Kirsty’s TG Playground are organized into just one section including both solo and hardcore action. Members can choose to download either a low resolution (360×240) or high resolution (720×480) version of all the videos and I found the download speeds pleasant enough to justify downloading the high resolution videos across my testing bed. Videos tend to be between 7 and 10 minutes in length and appear to be edited for just the ‘juicy’ bits.

One thing that Kirsty really has going for her is that she has a videographer for her movies which really makes a big difference in making you feel like you’re ‘there’ for the action. A lot of similar sized sites either don’t have the budget or the know-how to have someone film them at their kinkiest moments so this is a real treat. Kirsty certainly has no shortage of guys who are willing to ’sacrifice’ themselves to slide into her young Tgirl ass… It’s like a veritable fucking party parade over there in the UK and Kirsty definitely enjoys being the center of the show!

JOINING KIRSTY’S TG PLAYGROUND
Becoming a Member of Kirsty’s TG Playground, which will give you full, unfettered access to all her content is an initial cost of $24.95 (USD) for the first 30 days and then recurring at $21.95. I kind of like this idea of giving Members a little discount for staying loyal for a month or two. You can also join for a non-recurring cost of $29.95 for 30 days, $54.95 for 90 days, and $89.95 for 100 days. Obviously, the more you buy here, the greater your savings are so if you think this is a site you’ll enjoy for a few months, pony up for as much as you can afford! Billing is primarily done through CCBill although a variety of other options are available.

CONCLUSION AND SITE OVERVIEW
As far as amateur sites go, I’d have to say that Kirsty’s TG Playground is a must see. That being said, you really should keep in mind that as an amateur site (defined here as: A site that is owned, operated, and run by the ‘face’ of the site and not a larger entity), picture and video content is reflective of a smaller budget. Which isn’t to say the content is of a lesser quality, but it may not contain the ‘polished’ look and feel that you’d expect from a large mega-site. Although, like I mentioned before, Kirsty’s TG Playground is part of a network of sites run by Blue Pixel, one gets the feeling that Kirsty maintains creative control over a large portion of (or all) the site itself.

Good amateur sites are few and far between and I was pleasantly surprised by the content that Kirsty supplies her Members. Her hardcore party scenes are truly unique and if you’re a fan of gangbang and orgy action, you’ll love this section of the site. Kirsty is truly beautiful too, which is again, not something that can be said of all Tgirls out there trying to make it on their own in the Shemale Porn Industry. As intelligent as she is, it’s not surprising that Kirsty made the leap to a network that truly understands the importance of good site design and letting their girls have creative control over their content.

My Bottom Line: Kirsty’s TG Playground has some minor things that could be improved (i.e. – gallery navigation) but I could probably say that about most any site. The fact remains that the site is solidly constructed and offers some very good content for those that enjoy sites with a more ‘personal’ look and feel. I highly recommend becoming a Member of Kirsty’s TG Playground because Kirsty is one hot piece of British Tgirl ass that Fans the world over will enjoy!

This review is of the Official Mandy-Mitchell site.

I’ve actually had the pleasure of speaking with Mandy a few times and let me be the first to say that, in addition to being beautiful, Mandy has an undeniable intellect and a sharp business sense that has taken her from being simply a TS Model, shooting content for other sites, to one of the most recognized names in the niche. Strike one up for ‘T-Girl Power’.

SITE DESIGN AND NAVIGATION
If you’ve perhaps been a Member of Mandy’s previous site and found yourself frustrated by some of the design and navigational aspects, you’re not alone. The good news is that Mandy Mitchell’s new Official Site is simple and straightforward yet features some of the cool features available today for webmasters. Interestingly enough, although Mandy-Mitchell is certainly one of the more unique sites on the SMC Network, it has by far the simplest design with not too much ‘flash and dazzle’. So, let me throw this in… don’t be fooled into thinking that Mandy-Mitchell doesn’t deliver on content just because it may lack a nice, bright background and lots of flashing buttons for you to click! If you’ve read some of our other reviews here on Shemale Web Review, you know that I am never one to recommend a site just because it looks pretty and smells nice. In my opinion, Mandy has delivered an excellent site with some truly unique content, so even though the packaging may not be bright and beautiful, it is definitely worth the price of admission.

Navigation through Mandy-Mitchell is pretty straightforward with a red Navigation Bar and drop-down menus providing browsers with easily accessible options to reach the content. I did not encounter any broken links or errors while navigating through the site, which is, in and of itself, and big step in the right direction from Mandy’s previous site.

MEMBERS AREA
In order to leave some more space to discuss the content on Mandy-Mitchell, I’m just going to offer this about the Member’s Area of the site: It’s clean and effective and most persons will not have any problems at all finding their way around and checking out the very unique content to be found there.

PHOTO CONTENT
Picture galleries on Mandy-Mitchell are split into three different galleries with a little overlap (i.e. – you may find the same set in two different catgories): Hardcore Galleries, Solo Galleries, and Fetish Galleries. On a quality level, some of the galleries have some graininess to them but not enough to detract from the overall photo. Seems like the more recent galleries are much clearer though and this would lead me to believe that Mandy has either found a better photographer or better equipment. You can view the different galleries via thumbnails or download the entire gallery as a ZIP file. I really like that each Gallery has a description of the gallery written by Mandy to give Members some background into the scene. Members can also rate and leave comments about each gallery and it’s nice to see that Mandy replies to comments directed at her. It’s always a good thing for a Solo Site when the main attraction interacts with their Fans and Admirers!

OK… CONTENT. Content IS Queen on Mandy-Mitchell. I suppose that people become Members of paysites for a number of different reasons but when it all comes down, I think the vast majority of people join because they find something interesting or appealing about the content. Mandy-Mitchell has, by far, some of the most interesting content of any solo Shemale site that I’ve come across. Mandy has made it her personal and ongoing mission to bring the ‘kinky side’ of Shemale porn to the masses via her Official Site. In addition to the ‘boy fucks girl’ type of scenes that most sites offer, on Mandy-Mitchell you’ll find Mandy playing with other TS Performers (an awesome set with Aly Sinclair), dominating guys, and playing with some very hot genetic women.

One of the recurring themes on Mandy-Mitchell is bondage, which she seems to REALLY enjoy. And, we’re not just talking your ordinary, everyday type of ho-hum bondage. This is real, gritty, hardcore bondage that you’ll personally feel with each and every pose that Mandy undergoes. I love how Mandy pushes limits on her site. I think every person will find at least one thing on Mandy-Mitchell that will make them squirm a little bit in their seat; but, more often than not, you’ll most likely be doing something else in your seat besides squirming…

VIDEO CONTENT
Videos on Mandy-Mitchell are also divided up into the same three sections as the Photo Content which makes it easy to find the matching video to any of the photo galleries you enjoy. Videos appear to be released a couple days after the photo set goes live so that gives you plenty of time to drool in anticipation of what’s in store. Mandy offers Members a wide variety of choices to download videos including an MP4 version for mobile phones. If you’re a MAC user, Mandy renders all her videos in a Quicktime format for native playability. PC users have the option of Low Quality, Medium Quality, and High Quality videos in a WMV format.

You’ll want to pay attention to the file size of the video you want to download and choose appropriately. I was able to reach a maximum download speed of 95 KB/sec, which is a little on the slow side when you’re talking about a 1GB file. You’re looking at a very long wait. As always, I downloaded several different files through the course of a week at differing times of the day and even checked my download speeds against other sites just to be sure it wasn’t my computer (I was able to average out about 330 KB/sec at the same times from other sites). I didn’t fare any better with the streaming option. So, while the video content may be hot and heavy on Mandy-Mitchell, best not to get too worked up for an instant payoff and set your computer to download the medium and high quality videos overnight.

JOINING MANDY-MITCHELL
As part of the SMC Network of Solo Shemale Sites, Mandy-Mitchell is a great value. Even by itself, at $19.95 for a one month Membership, Mandy’s site is well worth the price. When you throw in 10 other sites (at the time of this writing) from the network with the MultiPass option for just $35.00, it’s pretty much a no-brainer which option I’d choose.

CONCLUSION AND SITE OVERVIEW
Mandy-Mitchell is unique, creative, and features one of the hottest Shemale Pornstars of today. My only negative comment about the site itself is a technical one, rather than a creative one. I think with an increase of bandwidth, resulting in faster download speeds, Mandy-Mitchell would be a top-notch site.

Mandy herself is a top-quality performer and the scenes on her site show that she deserves a place alongside today’s top Transsexual Pornstars. What is really great about Mandy is that she cares about the content she’s providing to her Members and isn’t just putting out another bland, boring ‘guy fucks Tranny’ scene. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with scenes like that, but it’s nice to see there’s someone in the Industry who is putting out high quality Shemale porn with a real ‘edge’ to it. Whether you become a Member of Mandy-Mitchell because you’re a Fan or merely because you’re curious about one of her more creative scenes, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by the content you’ll find there.

My bottom line: Mandy-Mitchell is a solid site that is a vast improvement over the previous incarnation and offers Members some of the most truly unique and creative Shemale porn scenes around. Look for more from Mandy in the future… she’s here to stay!

Shortly thereafter, Hazel Tucker captured the “Best New Face of 2008″ award at the inaugural Tranny Awards and pretty much the rest is history! Ever since her very first photo gallery hit the Internet, Fans of this ‘Girl Next Door’ beauty have been clamoring for her to launch a solo site and now their dreams have come true.

Hazel Tucker has rubbed shoulders with some pretty big names in the Industry, including Kimber James, TS Jesse, and Kelly Shore. She was first photographed by famed West Coast TS photographer, Buddy Wood, and he’s been shooting her ever since. I’ve had my eye on Hazel Tucker for some time now and I really like this girl… not in a lustful weird sort of way, but because by all appearances, she seems like a very down-to-earth, no drama, type of girl. Which, given the cattiness and drama surrounding some Shemale Pornstars of her ilk, is a pretty cool thing. That being said, let’s take a closer look at her site and see if it’s as good as she looks!

SITE DESIGN AND NAVIGATION
For patrons of other websites run by Grooby Productions, the look and feel of Hazel Tucker’s site will be pretty familiar so I’m not going to spend a lot of time on this section. Her site is actually the first Solo Shemale site that they have thrown their considerable mass behind and it shows that this relatively new Shemale Pornstar has their full support. The site is done in in pleasing shades of deep pinks which is very easy on the eyes. As you expect from a Grooby site, Hazel Tucker is well designed and navigation is easy to find and follow. Things I noticed right away after the obligatory Adult Warning page (besides the site of Hazel with a mini-baseball bat stuffed up her ass) is a hand-written welcome to the site by Hazel herself, a great little Twitter widget with her latest feeds, and another little widget where you can listen to some tunes that Hazel has listened to recently. The Tour features some great Flash video clips as well as teaser pictures to get you in the mood for more. Speaking of which…

MEMBERS AREA
The first thing that you should do upon becoming a Member of Hazel Tucker is to take a time to read the ‘Notepad.’ It contains some great little bits about the site itself and a good read is the first entry (dated July 6, 2009) which gives some insight into the origins of Hazel Tucker. I found it to be pretty interesting, written by Steven, the owner of Grooby Productions. Here’s a little excerpt:

I’ve been running transsexual websites for over 12 years and always stayed away from doing solo girls site…I had absolutely no interest in making a solo Tgirl site that looked and performed like the many dull and droll, solo Shemale websites that you may have seen. Photo galleries on Hazel Tucker are split into two different categories, Solo Sets and Hardcore Sets, which are pretty self-explanatory. Frequent browsers will want to spend careful attention to the titles given to the sets as that is the main search component although at the time being, browsing content is manageable through the thumbnails. However, since the site is updated weekly, pretty soon you’ll be wanting to add your favorite Hazel galleries to Your Portfolio for easy viewing and you’ll need the title.

As I mentioned earlier, much of the photography for Hazel Tucker is shot by Buddy Wood, although there are some shoots from Frank’s Tgirl World and Shemale Yum (also shot by Buddy) as well. I really like that Hazel Tucker stays with the Grooby Productions philosophy of shooting models and letting their natural beauty do the talking. That is to say, it appears there is very little post-picture editing going on here… what you see is what Hazel was looking like that day… not her airbrushed and edited to death. Pictures are clear, colorful, interesting, and of course, Hazel looks amazing. Members at Frank’s Tgirl World or Shemale Yum will notice that a few of the galleries are from those sites respectively but there are PLENTY of exclusive, new galleries to make Membership to Hazel Tucker worth the signup fee, and, with new content added every week… well, you get the idea.

VIDEO CONTENT
Well, let’s be honest here… Most persons join Solo Shemale Sites largely because they want to see some hot solo scenes and hardcore videos featuring their favorite Shemale model. I don’t think Hazel Tucker is any exception to that rule so it’s a good thing that the site delivers some of the best, exclusive Hazel Tucker videos around! I mentioned earlier that Hazel is pretty involved creatively with her content and there are some really great videos on the site. The content is varied with some amazing solo videos as well as a mixture of great hardcore videos. I think that videos is really a good example of how being backed by a larger company like Grooby can really be beneficial. Videos are edited well and presented in two different sizes, a regular quality WMV (320px) and a high quality WMV (640px). The site is fast and I was able to download files at an average rate of about 300kbps. I did review the site while it was fairly new so it’s possible that with more Members you may experience some slightly slower times but I would doubt it. Grooby is pretty good about download speeds. Anyway, the point being, on Hazel Tucker, you’re sure to get your fill of exclusive content that you won’t find ANYWHERE else. And, with a video added each and every week, I think Hazel’s going to be one busy girl in her first year!

JOINING HAZEL TUCKER
Fans of Hazel Tucker will be very pleased that her site is not quite expensive to join as the other Grooby Sites (which, for the record, I think are well worth the money). The site is a very reasonable $24.99 / 30 days of access or you can purchase a bulk 3 months for $49.99, which if you ask me, is a no-brainer, assuming you have the extra cash on hand. Membership gets you unlimited entry and downloading of all the tasty treats on Hazel Tucker and is a great value considering the caliber of the site and Shemale Pornstar it features.

CONCLUSION AND SITE OVERVIEW
Quite honestly, I feel a little badly for the other Shemale Stars out there running and maintaining their own sites. It will be very difficult for any other independent model out there to live up to what I would now consider to be ‘the gold standard’ of Solo Shemale Sites. Hazel Tucker certainly has been blessed with natural beauty, good business sense, and ‘likability,’ but throw in the full support of a titan like Grooby Productions behind her and you’ve got an unbeatable combination for success. It will be interesting to see where the site is one year from now but I’ve got a feeling that Hazel Tucker will be one of the biggest names in the Industry and sitting atop a mountain of Fans and Admirers.

For the other Shemale Stars out there… don’t despair! I think the great thing about a new site like Hazel Tucker is that it really spreads a little bit of a ‘wake-up’ call around about just how good a Solo Site can be. I don’t think they all need to be as beautiful and well maintained as Hazel Tucker is (although that certainly helps) but ALL Solo Site owners should sit up and take notice at the amount of communicating that Hazel does with her Fans and the amount of work she has put in to create amazing and unique content that they will love… over and over again.

Hazel Tucker just might single-handedly cause the Kleenex shortage of 2009 / 2010… my advice is to make sure you have a box in hand before joining the site…

INTRODUCTION
If you’re thinking about skipping out on DeliaCD just because of the ‘CD’ in the title, you’ll be doing yourselves and Delia a disservice! Delia is a true Transsexual in every sense of the word and in fact, work is being done to restructure the site and rename it to ‘DeliaTS’ in the near future to reflect Delia’s decision to complete the transitioning process.

DeliaCD is owned and operated by the duo of Delia and her genetic girlfriend, Trixie, of TastyTrixie. The couple run a small network of sites with DeliaCD and TastyTrixie being the flagships. In my opinion, these sites are really a great model for what independent porn should be. All the sites are well themed, designed, and updated. And, as independently owned sites, you really get a feel for the owners. It’s the personal touch that really sets a site like DeliaCD apart from similar sites.

SITE DESIGN AND NAVIGATION
DeliaCD has one of the simplest yet most effective designs of many Solo Shemale Sites I’ve come across. Navigation is accomplished via a navigation bar at the top of each page so you’ll never get lost finding your way around. I really like the linear layout and there’s not a lot of distractions for the eye… just Delia.

On a personal note, in my opinion, you can always tell how much a person cares about their site by paying attention to the details… for instance, on DeliaCD, there are a few banners on the front page, which is fine. Many people would just display the banners as they struck deals to put them up but the banners on Delia’s page are carefully arranged by size, largest to smallest… these are the details that can help you decide whether a site is updated and maintained well. I’m not saying that’s always the case… but it’s something to look out for.

You’ll find an excellent selection of free pictures of Delia that serve as the ‘Tour Area’ and from the pictures you can definitely tell that Delia is one smokin’ hot and creative individual. Delia also has an excellent Journal which you can follow for a while before deciding to become a Member of the site. Another great way to get to know Delia a bit more.

MEMBER’S AREA
The first thing I should mention here is that Membership to DeliaCD gets you access to the whole network of Delia’s and Trixie’s sites, which is an excellent value considering all the sites are of the same caliber as DeliaCD. You’ll have access to TastyTrixie and AmberLily, two great solo genetic girl sites; SpyOnUs / Behind the Scenes, Delia’s and Trixie’s Webcams; and Trixie’sHouseboy, which features Delia’s alternate personality, ‘Tucker’ (Note: these sites were included at the time of this writing although with Delia transitioning, I do not know if Trixie’sHouseboy will be offered in the future.).

The Main Page of the Member’s Area is a ‘Recent Updates’ page with all the tasty updates categorized by date. Links to the other network sites are right there on the Main Page so Members should have no problem accessing or finding them. There’s a ‘New Member Orientation’ page for DeliaCD newbies which contains some general information about Delia herself and the site itself. Other features include a Calendar, some Streaming Video plugins to a variety of other sites, and a great Guest Content section.

PHOTO CONTENT
I love the fact that DeliaCD contains photos (and videos) from when the site first began (2004)! I think watching a girl from her first time on camera to present day, besides fulfilling some sort of voyeuristic pleasure, is so much fun! From the photos, you can really tell that Delia was made for the camera. She has an amazing flair for putting together interesting outfits which are both sexy and colorful.
